It's been a while since I've done a copy catwalk post, but I have some gorgeous Gucci inspired high street gems to share today! The Fall 2011 collection was one of the highlights of the season for me - I loved the glamour of the sheer maxi dresses, deep jewel tones and fabulous furs!

Here are some of my favourite Gucci inspired pieces in-stores now...

Karen Millen combines silk satin with dramatic frilled shoulders and necklines

This chiffon berry maxi from Rare Opulence is straight off the Gucci catwalk, complete with side slits and beautifully embellished sleeves.
River Island make a statement in yellow and burgundy adding oversized corsages for the finishing Gucci touch.

And finally, Topshop have a fabulous selection of faux fur stoles in a myriad of jewel tones. Wear these around dresses and jackets to achieve the 70s luxe Gucci glamour!

Style Report: British Fashion Awards

There were Style Stars all around this evening as the cream of the fashion industry descended on The Savoy in London for the British Fashion Awards. Victoria Beckham took home the award for 'Best Designer Brand'  wearing a beautiful black slinky dress - I'm loving the pleats and the elegant silhouette.

Olivia Palermo presented the 'Emerging Talent' award to Mary Katrantzou, wearing a beautiful Matthew Wiliamson feathered creation and looking effortlessly chic as always. Olivia completed her look with a pair of Topshop heels.

I'm not the biggest Alexa Chung fan but I adore this Christopher Kane S/S '12 dress, the embellishment and sparkle is so pretty! Alexa won the 'British Style' award  for the second year in a row.

Visit Vogue for the full rundown on who wore what and all the behind-the-scenes gossip!

Disc-o Fever

Seen on the runways of Prada, Stella McCartney and Marc Jacobs - sequin discs, or paillettes to give them their correct title, are definitely having a moment this season! These oversized sequins are big, bold and sure to dazzle on any disco dancefloor over the festive season. My favourite paillette piece I've spotted so far has to be this stunning red skirt from the DKNY resort campaign. It also comes in a gorgeous blue that would look perfect styled with all black pieces.
Here are a few more disc-o delights I've come across online :)

Holiday Ad Love...

The Tiffany & Co. holiday campaign is always one of my favourites in the December magazines. This season's shots are as stunning as ever with glistening jewels and a magical winter landscape. It has me wishing for a white Christmas :)

Happy Friday all! I hope everybody in the US is having a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Short Story

Taking the hemlines up significanty from last week's Jumpsuit post, today I have to share my love of shorts! They are so comfortable to wear - smart for day and a glamorous alternative to a dress for a night out. Shorts are so easy to style and look gorgeous teamed with black opaque tights, a simple slinky top and a fitted blazer to tie the whole look together. This season I'm lusting after a dazzling sequin pair like these Warehouse and French Connection styles below. I also spotted a cute velvet pair in Topshop, complete with a skinny bow belt - these would work day or night and the velvet is so festive! Definite must-haves!

1. Velvet Bow Belted Shorts, Topshop
2. Lucinda Black Sequin Shorts, French Connection
3. Gold Sequin Shorts, Warehouse

Luxe Casual

This weekend, I took inspiration from Olivia Palermo and Rosie Huntington Whiteley to incorporate leather into a casual look. I'm loving the combination of leather and knitwear, it looks relaxed and casual yet the flash of leather adds a glamorous polished edge! Complete the look with ballet pumps and statement accessories.

Holiday Ad Love...

Happy Friday all!
This weekend I'm looking forward to a little retail therapy and gathering inspiration for the festive season. These gorgeous H by Halston adverts are the perfect starting point - I love everything from the decadent decor and fabulous furs to the statement heels and shimmering sequins. Not to mention the glossy hair and glam red nails! I think I'll go give myself a manicure now...

Style Star: Camilla Belle

Camilla Belle gets my style star this week, wearing a pretty pink Monique Lhuillier Spring 2012 dress. I loved this entire collection when it hit the runway and Camille wears this dress so well! The contrast of the black shoes and waistband against the candy pink is gorgeous, while the sparkling Chopard jewels add the perfect finishing touch.

Colour Pop

I've mentioned my love of skinny jeans on the blog before and this season I'm dying to inject a bit of colour into my collection! There is an abundance of coloured skinnies around at the moment and I've been getting great outfit inspiration from browsing other blogs and images on pinterest.

I was really excited when I came across Ted Baker's Cubba Jeans this week, as they come in four of my favourite shades of the season: Burgundy, Cobalt Blue, Hot Pink and Dark Orange. I think the orange and burgundy make for gorgeous daytime outfits, especially when paired with chunky knitwear and neutral shades. The pink would look stunning with a black lace top and sky high heels for a glamorous evening look while the blue just make such a statement, they would  work for day or night! I know I can't have them all so I've got to make up my mind....decisions, decisions :)

What's your favourite?

Jump In...

In keeping with this season's 70s trend, jumpsuits have made a huge comeback and can be found in almost every store at the moment. While I have lots of short playsuits in my wardrobe , I've never worn a full length jumpsuit before! That will soon change though as I've spotted some amazing pieces in the shops recently! I love the shapely silhouette that the jumpsuit creates, flattering almost any figure. It also makes an instant style statement and can be transformed by switching up accessories with every wear.

Here are a few of my favourites...

1. Sequin Top Jumpsuit: Oasis
2. Dark Purple Satin Crepe Jumpsuit: Oasis
3. Sonic Smoke Strappy Jumpsuit: French Connection

This weekend I'm looking forward to flipping through my December magazines and soaking up all the gorgeous Christmas fashion and holiday adverts. I spotted this one from Viktor & Rolf this morning - it's so pretty! And even better, the Flowerbomb Set actually comes in this dolls house. Lovely gift idea!

Jennifer Hudson looks absolutely stunning in Michael Kors, proving that a black dress is by no means boring! Her red carpet looks have been impeccable recently, making her an easy choice for Style Star this week!

Snake Charmer

There's no denying that snakeskin is a huge trend this season - it graced countless runways, including Gucci and Prada, and has now slithered onto the high street in a myriad of colours! Like leopard print, I tend to prefer snakeskin in accessories and shoes but I'm making an exception for the stunning Mango dress below, I just love this shade of blue!

 Green Snake Heels: Zara
Blue Snake Booties: Alexander McQueen
