A New Year....

I've had so much fun since starting this blog last August and I just want thank everyone for all the support and lovely comments I receive every day! I can't wait for the new year to begin - I have lots of plans for this little space and I'm really looking forward to following all of your stylish adventures in 2012 too!

Dressing Up For The Countdown!

I can't believe it's almost New Year's Eve already, this year has gone so fast! As usual, I don't have plans in place (NYE is always a bit last minute) but it will definitely be celebrated in style!

I've pulled one of my favourite white dresses from my wardrobe and have it on standby for the occasion. I've previously styled it with silver or black accessories but this year, inspired by these gorgeous Kurt Geiger shoes, I'm going for pink!

All that Glitters....

Although there are some fantastic sale bargains to be had, I haven't braved the shops yet!

With shoppers in a frenzy, overcrowded rails and long queues, I'd rather shop the sales online. Or better still - look ahead to the new season! I can't wait to indulge in the sugary sweet pastel shades that are sure to dominate our wardrobes come Spring. 

First on my wishlist, are these gorgeous heels from Kurt Geiger - perfect for any glitter loving girl :)

It's Christmas....

Happy Holidays! 

It has been a very busy week but we've finally made it! 

The gifts are bought, the cocktails are on ice and I can't wait to celebrate with all my friends tonight!

From tomorrow onwards it's time to relax with family and friends and enjoy the festive atmosphere!

Weekend Celebrations

The weekend is here and the Christmas parties are in full swing! To make it even more exciting, one of my best friends is home from Australia, so we have lots of catching up to do over the holidays!

I can't wait to try some of the festive cocktails above and wear my new party dress on Saturday night....

 I took these photos while out on a lovely winter's day walk last Christmas and if the cold continues we could be seeing scenes like these again very soon.....

So to wrap up against the cold, Sunday will be spent under comfy blankets with plenty of Christmas movies and chocolate treats....

Styled by Geraldine Saglio, this shoot captures some of the best designer gifts to give and receive this season from all the top fashion houses including Chanel, Dior, Miu Miu, YSL, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Burberry. I'm loving the dramatic props used in the festive scenes  - they add a really unique twist to the regular gift guides that we come to expect every year! As for the gifts themselves, who wouldn't smile if they found any of these amazing pieces under the tree on Christmas morning?

Festive Weekend...

Happy weekend everyone!

I'm very late this year, but I'll be making a start to my Christmas shopping over the next few days. Then it's time for my favourite part, gift wrapping! I know some people hate the thought of it but I could spend hours tying bows and ribbons around pretty paper to make gorgeous gifts! Here's a little inspiration from pinterest...

This weekend I'm also looking forward to taking in the city lights and stopping by a Christmas market.

Red Alert!

'Tis the season for all things red and here are my top picks for adding a splash of festive cheer to any outfit! The ruffle front coat is beautiful, it's a real statement piece but still a timeless classic that can be worn year after year. I'm also loving the booties and the clutch, they are just the thing to add a dash of glamour to an all-black outift! The tops are great day-to-night pieces and can be dressed up or down for any occasion. Last but not least, no wardrobe should be without a little red dress - this one shouldered number is a cocktail party essential!
