Style Star: Eva Longoria

The Glamour Magazine Women of the Year awards took place last night in London and there was lots of fabulous style on the red carpet! My Style Star goes to Eva Longoria who looked amazing in a vibrant Victoria Beckham shift dress. The overall look is simple and chic with the silver detailing on the back adding  dash of glamour! Described by Glamour as 'the most hard-working woman in Hollywood' Eva won the 'Inspiration' award last night and rightly so - she is fabulous!

Weekend Style..

Hi all, happy Monday! 

I had a fabulous weekend in the beautiful surrounds of Ballybeg House in Co. Wicklow for my friend's sister's wedding! The weather was gorgeous so my floaty maxi dress from A|wear was perfect for the occasion!

We stayed in a gorgeous rustic lodge - I loved the decor

 Enjoying some glorious evening sunshine with Elaine...

Watching the sun go down over the Wicklow mountains...

All in all, it was a perfect weekend!

Friday's Fancies: Summer Style

Summer has officially arrived and it's time to get the shorts out! I spotted this amazing Stella McCartney pair earlier on this week and had to include them in my Friday's Fancies! The bright stripes make a real statement and they are versatile too - simply mix and match with co-ordinating tanks for a different look with each wear. I've gone for blue and orange today but green or cream would work equally well!

Style Star: Diane Kruger

Diane Kruger hit the red carpet at Cannes last week looking stunning in a custom made Giambattista Valli couture gown. I adore the draped chiffon and the soft pastel shade. Inspired by her look, I have found a gorgeous dress in Monsoon that would be perfect for any summer event. I've kept the look cool and breezy by teaming it with a pair of  blush toned sandals. Now if only I could recreate that fabulous high bun...

Holiday Countdown: Travel in Style

I am so happy that my holiday with the girls is officially booked! I can't wait for two whole weeks of sun on the beach in Marbella. While I am patiently waiting until August, I'll be getting inspired with a series of holiday countdown posts. First stop, the airport!

Don't you just love when a dress you have been admiring for ages goes on sale? I was thrilled when I spotted this one marked down in Warehouse last Friday, and I had to snap it up! The print is nice and summery and it's a really versatile piece. I dressed it up with some orange heels this time, but it would work equally well with a pair of flat sandals.

Friday's Fancies: Denim Day

Happy Friday all, I thought it would never come! 

It's Denim Day on Friday's Fancies and this one was really fun to style! There is so much inspiration floating around the blogosphere, and endless ways to wear the classic chambray shirt. I have been teaming mine with my mint skinny jeans but today I'm mixing it up and pairing it with a floaty maxi skirt. The overall look is cool and casual with touches of gold for a little extra sparkle...

It's time for another round of Style Star and this week, it's model Christine Teigen who has caught my eye! She stepped out at the New York premiere of 'What to Expect When You're Expecting', looking gorgeous in the perfect blend of neutrals and sparkles. I love her blazer and I have been on the lookout for something similar. I spotted this one in A|wear and inspired by Christine's look, I think it would go great with my sequinned Zara skirt! I would also love to put these DVF wedges on my shopping list!

Friday's Fancies: Colour Crush

Yellow is without a doubt one of my favourite colours of the season. It is bright, refreshing and you can't help but feel happy wearing it! From pale pastels to bright neons, there is a shade of yellow for everyone and it doesn't have to be scary - bright yellow accessories against a more neutral, subtle outfit can have an equally stunning impact.

Poppy Delevigne matches my Style Star this week in a sunny yellow dress!

 I love how she has teamed the dress with bold, black accessories. The overall look is right on trend whilst remaining chic and elegant. Another style win for Poppy!

I was delighted to get an opportunity to wear my new H&M skirt out to lunch on Saturday. I kept the look bright with a simple yellow top, and finished it off with a pair of gold Guess sandals and my favourite Zara tote!

Friday's Fancies: Decked out for the Derby

It's Friday and time for another round of Fancies! This week's theme is 'Decked out for the Derby', and as I have mentioned before, there's nothing I love more than a day out at the races! The Irish Derby isn't until the end of June but it's never to early to get a little style inspiration...

For this outfit, I've chosen a statement headpiece from the renowned Philip Treacy. His designs are spectacular and he created no less than 36 hats for the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton! I kept the dress simple but chic and added a pair of bright pink Zara heels to tie the whole look together.
