How about a little more Couture inspiration on this Tuesday morning? Giambattista Valli was another collection that stood out for me last week in Paris. I love the contrast of dark and light and the mix of textures and cuts. These dresses have Olivia Palermo written all over them! I'm looking forward to style stalking her on the NYFW circuit in a few short weeks!
I got my stripes out this weekend, with a few pops of red to add a little glam! This jacket was another Zara sale find, and it's a great piece that will see me right through to Spring. For now, it's still a little chilly so I threw on my faux fur and oversized scarf before setting off for Sunday lunch :)
Have a good week!

It's the colour combination that never goes out of style; and designers were all over it this season, with monochrome stripes blazing down the runways everywhere from Marc Jacobs to Balmain.
To give this look a new lease of life for Spring, I've added colour popping accessories in the form of a lustworthy Mulberry Bayswater and these fun Zara heels! Just looking at all that pink is enough to get my weekend off to a good start!
The Fendi S/S collection was definitely one of the most memorable for me during Milan Fashion Week, so I was delighted to see some of my favourites featured in the new advertising campaign. You guessed it, it had to be those fabulous sequin dresses and heels above!
The rest of the shots are equally impressive with a breathtaking background and a striking use of colour and geometric prints. Karl Lagerfeld seems to have struck gold once again! I can't wait to see these campaign images in the March glossys!
Style Star of the week goes to Eva Longoria, who looked fabulous at the recent Inauguration events in Washington DC. Over two days, she managed to rock city chic winter style with a look ahead to warmer spring days too. I love her pale pink leather coat and purple dress!
If ever there is a time for fashion daydreams, it's during Couture week! Alexis Mabille was one of the first designers to hit the runway today, with a sugary sweet offering for Spring. From tulle and bows to swishy pleats and swathes of chiffon, this collection is perfectly girly and my style down to a tee!
It's time to reveal our outfit crushes for this week's Friday's Fancies round up! Lately, I've been been pinning lots of simple, all black ensembles so I thought I would re-create one of my favourites today. I love how a basic grey jumper can be transformed simply by adding a statement jacket and gold accents. I'm also a huge fan of oversized scarves, the bigger the better! This is a really comfy but chic look, perfect for weekend lunch or shopping dates! I've been on the hunt for a new leather jacket and I think this Mango one could be it, love the shape and padded detailing!
January is the perfect time for a little work wardrobe refresh! From stylish separates to classic black dresses, there are some gorgeous pieces in the shops at the moment. These are just a few of my current favourites, perfect for putting a pep in your step on these cold January days!
Awards season is in full swing and I am loving all the style stalking! Anna Kendrick caught my eye over the weekend, wearing this beautiful emerald green number by Dior. From the on trend colour to the beautiful bow front and dramatic back detail, it's the perfect cocktail dress!
Jessica Alba also deserves a special mention today for her stunning Golden Globes gown. I'm a huge fan of her casual style and she definitely raised the glamour stakes on Sunday in this amazing Oscar de la Renta creation. The colour is beautiful and suits her skin tone perfectly!
So we were all warned about snow this weekend but instead it was just freezing and rainy! I had to run for cover under this gazebo to snap a few outfit shots whilst out and about! I was bundled up in my faux fur gilet, which I actually picked up in H&M kids before Christmas. It fits perfect and was a steal at only €22! The Zara boots were a recent sale purchase and I love them, they are surprisingly comfortable despite the high heel!
Have a great week!

It's official! Tangerine tango has been given the boot and Emerald green has been declared the Pantone colour of the year! There is something so luxurious about this shade, especially in silky fabrics or sparkling gems. If like me you don't wear green that often, emerald accessories can offer a perfect nod to the trend. Of course, Pinterest is also brimming with style inspiration and I'm loving the touch of leopard against these green jeans! It's a combination I wouldn't have thought of at first, but it really works!
Spring isn't in the air just yet, but these images certainly brightened up my day! Naomi Watts looks stunning in pastels and floral surrounds in the latest issue of Vogue Australia. I especially love the last shot!
The only good thing about January is the excitement of the spring season that lies ahead! It's lovely to see lighter tones starting to appear in the shops and after a month of glitz and glamour, I'm looking forward to going back to basics with neutral colours and cosy casuals!
I'm not usually one for shopping on the 26th, but this year I made an exception for a special trip to the Anya Hindmarch store in Kildare Village. Her much acclaimed 'Valorie' clutch had long been on my wishlist and when I spotted it in the outlet store last November, I couldn't believe it! Whilst it was reduced, I still couldn't justify the splurge before Christmas. Even so, it never left my thoughts and I continued to dream about its glittery goodness! When sale season rolled around, I decided to chance my luck again to see if it was still there and was giddy with excitement when I found out there was one left in stock, now with over 50% off!
It was the perfect finishing touch to my cream and gold St. Stephen's night look! I can safely say it is the sparkliest item in my wardrobe and I will treasure it forever!
