Model of the moment Cara Delevingne could soon be turning her attention to the big screen rather than the runway! While she was the talk of the town in London; walking for Burberry, Mulberry and Topshop among others, her absence throughout the majority of New York fashion week didn't go unnoticed. Apparently, this is partly due to her blossoming acting career.
According to a recent article in Metro, "It wasn’t a conscious thing,’she said,‘I just suddenly got one movie, then another one and then another one.’
As Miss Delevingne makes her way to Hollywood, reportedly with three film offers in the pipeline, Ladbrokes have placed her at50/1 to win an Oscar for her first role in a feature film!
A true style chameleon, the model is certainly able to adapt her look when it comes to fashion. Will this translate to her acting career, as she takes on different characters and personas? Only time will tell!
Today we're talking Fall wishlists and I had no trouble pulling together a few of my favourites! Of all seasons, Autumn is definitely the best time to invest in the key wardrobe staples. With a good coat, bag and boots you're good to go! I'm also on the lookout for a leather skirt and I just love these Alex & Ani bangles as a finishing touch!
I picked them up in River Island yesterday and loved them so much that I almost wanted to wear them out of the shop! I refrained until I got home.... then I naturally had to take a few photos to show you all!
I love the nude spikes and I can see them working with a lot of outfits in the near future!
Have a great week!

The Kate Spade collection for SS '14 is my style to a tee! I loved this bubblegum pink dress, made even sweeter with the cute bow detail on the back.
This Monique Lhuillier crop top and full skirt was the first look that made me go 'wow'!
The J.Crew collection deserves an entire blog post of it's own - it was that good. For now, lets talk shoes! The lady behind these fabulous creations is none other than British designer Sophia Webster and her capsule collection for J.Crew consists of 12 exclusive styles, with a mix of fun colours and quirky prints.
Little Miss Harper stole the spotlight on the front row at Victoria Beckham's show. I couldn't not include this! Even Anna Wintour managed a smile!
It's safe to say that I'm addicted to my pointy toe heels but lately I can't help but admire their flatter counterparts too! They look so chic and add a polished finish to even the simplest of outfits! I'm very tempted by this sparkly pair from Zara. Inspired by Valentino? I think so!
It was a bit quiet here last week, but I've been busy working away behind the scenes!
After lots of hours spent playing with Photoshop, I've made a few tweaks and updated my header. Hope you all like it!
I did make time for a quick outfit post this weekend, featuring my new jeans from Zara (where else?!) I love the fit of these - they are so comfy and the darker colour is great for this transitional period.
I teamed them with a simple blouse from Penneys. They have some fabulous styles in at the moment and I'll definitely be back for a few more colours!
I've successfully managed to hold out until September before bringing back my 'Falling For' series.
Now there's no stopping me!
Having spent the last few weeks poring over the September issues and re-capping the runway collections, it seems many of last year's trends have returned even bigger and better. Lush leathers, ladylike silhouettes, oversized coats, perfect pinks and mixed textures are just a few that spring to mind. Berry is also reigning supreme this season. From lips and nails to handbags and heels, this is a colour that can be incorporated into your look in many ways. Here are a few of my favourite ways to wear it.
I'm so excited to welcome a new season and officially enter into fall fashion mode on the blog.
But first, a recap of a fabulous weekend!
Jessica and I saw out the last day of August in style at the Ultimate Girls Day out event in Dublin. We had a jam packed day filled with fashion, fun and lots of pampering. We started our day at the Harmonia stand where we took a few fun photos and entered a couple of competitions! After taking in a Catwalk show, featuring some gorgeous Autumn trends, we were delighted to learn that we were competition winners - Jessica for her gorgeous 'Covergirl' photo on the front of Irish Tatler and me in the 'Cinderella' best shoes competition! Amid all of the excitement, I was asked to go on stage for a live make-up master-class, where the lovely Sarah Jane Wai O'Flynn gave us some great make-up tips. I loved the end result!
We finished our day with some well deserved Cointreau cocktails before setting off home with our bundle of goodies! It was a brilliant event and I would definitely recommend a visit next year!
